I told myself a few weeks ago that I was going to make it my priority to work on my phone photo book. Obviously I neglected to rank that priority, because it seems to be even lower than taking out the trash. 
Yup. I've done exactly 0% work on it. Well, if you count looking at a couple of the photos I was thinking of including, then maybe it gets bumped up to... I don't know... maybe .01% or something like that.

Well, now is the time for new year's resolutions, and I'll be damned if I'm going to make it one of them. Yeah, you read that right. Damned if I am. Meaning, I'm not. Because, you see, I've always kind of felt that new year's resolutions are for people who are looking for that Feel Better About Yourself For Two Weeks Quick-Fix ^TM. I'm not that guy. If I feel like doing something, I'll do it. I don't need - nor do I want - to make a deal, bribe, or give myself a guilt trip in order to change my life. If my life needs to change, damn it it'll happen.

You see, I've got a million things to do, and as much as I hate to say it, art now has to take the back burner. Oh, I'll still be working on it, but my son and school are going to have to come first.

Okay, just my son. School can suffer for the art.

Ans boy do I have plans. In addition to my book, I've got a great photo project idea a-brewin'. It'll be my first real collaborative project, and I'm stoked... for when it happens after Hell freezes over. But hey, at least I've got plenty of time to plan. And plan... and plan... and plan...
