Originally, I had this idea in mind to do a deco kind of propaganda piece for a Danger Patrol recruitment poster. What came out was a sort of '30s comic/adventure poster look. And it's not that I don't like it, I just don't... well... know if I like it. However, it was a great breakthrough piece, in that I got away from the mold I was in, and started puching different techniques that I hadn't messed with before digitally. This led me to firmly realize that I should be working in Illustrator rather than Photoshop, but dammit! I just like Photoshop too much. I fear change. And even though this one didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped, is somewhat amateurish, and doesn't have very good text placement, I've now gotten a vision for the next one. Let's hope that I can get it to turn out more like I'd hoped. So for now, I give you The Robot Gorillas.
Replies: Yeah, the text placement needs a little bit of work, but dude...! There ain't nothin' wrong with Robot Freakin' Gorillas! They're just plain wicked. :)

In the finished product you may want to make the gorilla's eyes a little more prominent and the body coloring makes him look corroded, but perhaps that is what you were going for. I will be eager to see the finalized product.
